Information Regarding Accommodation Fee Payment for Spring Semester 2026 (AY 114-2)
The payment period for tuition and fees for Spring Semester 2026 (AY 114-2) will begin on February 2. Please carefully review the following information regarding on-campus Accommodation Fees:
1. Generation of Accommodation Fees
The Student Housing Service Division will generate the Accommodation Fee for Spring Semester 2026 (AY 114-2) on January 20.
If you apply for dormitory withdrawal after this date and still see the Accommodation Fee listed on your tuition bill, please do not make the payment. Please contact the Student Housing Service Division by phone or email to request cancellation of the fee. You may proceed with payment only after confirming that the Accommodation Fee has been removed from your bill.
2. Government Accommodation Fee Subsidy
Starting from the second semester of Academic Year 2023–2024, the Executive Yuan provides a subsidy for on-campus Accommodation Fees for students holding Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality.
- General students receive NT$5,000 per semester.
- Students from middle-low-income or low-income households, and children of active-duty military personnel (effective February 1, 2026), receive NT$7,000 per semester.
The subsidy is directly deducted from the Accommodation Fee. Please verify the amount shown on your tuition bill.
Notes
- The subsidy applies only to the Semester Accommodation Fee; Summer Accommodation Fees are not subsidized.
- Students admitted as Overseas Chinese or international students who hold Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality must email a copy of their National ID to the staff member in charge. Students who fail to provide the required document will not be eligible for the subsidy.
- Students who move in or move out during the semester will receive the subsidy prorated based on the number of weeks of residence.
- For students from low-income households and government-sponsored students, both Semester and Summer Accommodation Fees remain NT$0.
- For students from middle-low-income households, the Semester Accommodation Fee is reduced by NT$7,000, and the Summer Accommodation Fee continues to receive a 30% discount.
- Children of active-duty military personnel must submit valid supporting documents each semester to the Student Housing Service Division (Ms. Huang, giahuang@ntu.edu.tw).
3. If You Have Questions About the Amount
If you have any questions regarding your Accommodation Fee, please do not make the payment.
Contact the Student Housing Service Division first and proceed with payment only after the amount has been confirmed.
4. Advance Collection of Summer Accommodation Fee
The University will collect the Summer Accommodation Fee in advance as part of the Spring Semester tuition bill.
Exchange students, short-term residents from Taipei and New Taipei City, and residents of the Freshman Women Dorm and Men 1st Dorm are not eligible for summer residence. Students with special circumstances must apply separately and pay the required fees.
The summer dormitory period for Spring Semester 2026 (AY 114-2) is from June 21, 2026 (Sunday) to August 15, 2026 (Saturday).
Graduating students and students whose dormitory period has ended (including those who did not obtain continued residence eligibility) must move out by August 15. Other students may continue to reside in the dormitory.
- If a student moves out, clears the bed space, and returns the key before June 20 (Saturday), the Prepaid Summer Accommodation Fee will be fully refunded.
- If a student moves out on or after June 21 (Sunday), the Summer Accommodation Fee will be charged based on the actual number of weeks stayed, and the remaining amount will be refunded. Each week is calculated from Sunday to Saturday; any stay of less than one week is counted as one full week.

FAQ
1. I have already paid the Summer Accommodation Fee, but I later found that I will not need summer housing. What should I do?
Please visit https://housing.ntu.edu.tw and select “Application for Summer Dorm Withdrawal” or “Application for Dorm Withdrawal” to apply for withdrawal and a refund.
2. Which option should I choose: “Application for Dorm Withdrawal” or “Application for Summer Dorm Withdrawal”?
- If you are graduating or will not return to on-campus housing in the next semester, please select “Application for Dorm Withdrawal.”
The Prepaid Summer Accommodation Fee will be refunded on a prorated basis, and the dormitory deposit paid at your initial move-in will also be refunded. - If you will not stay during the summer only, but will return to your original bed space or move to a new dormitory/bed space next semester, please select “Application for Summer Dorm Withdrawal.”
The Prepaid Summer Accommodation Fee will be refunded based on your actual period of stay.
The “Application for Summer Dorm Withdrawal” function will be available starting May 1.
3. What should I do if I do not plan to stay in the dormitory during the summer?
Please complete the summer withdrawal application, clear your bed space, and return your key by June 20. You may move back into the dormitory one week before the start of the new semester.
4. I already know that I will not stay in the dormitory during the summer. Do I still need to pay the Summer Accommodation Fee?
Yes. Students are still required to make the payment first. Paying in advance reserves your summer bed space. Once your move-out is confirmed, you may then apply for withdrawal and a refund.
5. What should residents of the Freshman Women Dorm and Men 1st Dorm do if they wish to stay during the summer?
The counselors of the Freshman Women Dorm and Men 1st Dorm will announce the summer accommodation application procedures near the end of the second semester. Payment is required only after the application has been approved.
